COVID-19 Stimulus Payments
Based on the current information, here are some facts about the stimulus payments as of 4/14/20

What amount should you expect to receive?

  • Single taxpayers making $75,000 or less, will get $1,200
  • $500 will be paid in addition for every qualifying child age 16 or under
  • Married couples with no children earning $150,000 or less will receive a total of $2,400

*You may see your stimulus check pending in your account. Please understand that we are unable to post it early. The funds will become available on the date shown in pending. 

When should I expect my check?

  • The first batch of payments will be posted on April 15
  • After April 15, payments will continue on the following Fridays
  • If the IRS does not have your direct deposit info, you will have a longer wait for a paper check

What income should I look at?

  • 2019. If you haven’t prepared a tax return yet, you can use your 2018 return. 
  • If you haven’t filed, you can use a 2019 Social Security statement showing your income to see what an employer reported to the I.R.S.
