Coronavirus Updates

Coronavirus Updates
View the changes we've taken to welcome you back into our lobbies.
As our state begins to re-open with restrictions, our credit union will do the same. Our Northfield, Galloway, Rio Grande, and Hamilton Mall branch lobbies are open and following normal business hours. Our FAA Technical Center branch remains closed at this time since the majority of employees are working remotely.

Our team has been planning how to reopen with the safety and wellness of our members and staff as our top consideration. With that in mind, we would like to share changes we’ve taken to welcome you back inside our lobbies:

Face Coverings

We’ve provided face coverings for our employees to wear. We are also asking members to wear a face covering if they would like to utilize our lobby. Masks will be available to members who arrive without one. Please know that we may require you to remove your face covering temporarily to verify your identity prior to conducting any transactions. For those members who do not want to wear a face covering or do not feel comfortable lifting their face coverings, please use our drive-ups.

Social Distancing

To allow for proper social distancing, lobby visitors will be limited to no more than six members. We’ve placed floor spacing markers in our branches, ensuring six feet or more between each member. Plexiglass shields have been installed at Teller stations and placed on Member Service Representative desks. Please don’t be offended if we don’t greet you with our typical friendly handshake since we are limiting physical contact. When we see you, we'll be smiling under our face masks!

Hand Sanitizers

We’ve made hand sanitizers available throughout our lobbies for both our members and employees to use.

Increased Cleaning

We’ve increased our cleaning schedule, paying extra attention to high-touch areas.

Do You Have COVID-19?

We request that any member with a diagnosis of COVID-19 and those that have been in recent contact with an individual who has COVID-19, delay their visit to our branches until their physician has cleared them to return to normal activities. Employees will also refrain from coming into the office if showing any symptoms of illness and fever. Remember, we offer remote banking through our online and mobile banking services

CO-OP Shared Branch Locations

If you are planning to visit a Shared Branch, please call them first. Many Shared Branch locations are closed at this time and information may not be updated on the Shared Branch location finder.

Facing Financial Hardship?

If the current pandemic has effected your financial situation and you are unable to make your loan payments, please contact us at 609-646-3339, ext *123. We are here to help and would love to discuss any possible options.

Increased Access To Your Savings Account

Beware of Coronavirus Scams

Scammers are notorious for capitalizing on fear, and the coronavirus outbreak is no exception. Scammers have set up fake websites, bogus funding collections, and more in an effort to trick the fearful and unsuspecting out of their money.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has published on its website a warning against email scams connected to the coronavirus. The agency claims it has received reports from around the world about phishing attempts mentioning coronavirus on an almost daily basis.

Closer to home, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is warning against a surge in coronavirus scams, which are being executed with surprising sophistication, so they may be difficult for even the keenest of eyes to spot. The best weapons against these scams are awareness and education. When people know about circulating scams and how to identify them, they’re already several steps ahead of the scammers.

Pandemic Team

Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union has a Pandemic Team in place to be prepared for emergency situations and to prevent or minimize any interruption of service to our members. Our Team will be monitoring the coronavirus closely and is prepared to implement different phases of protection for our staff and members as needed.
