Safe, Strong & Sound
A few words from Chief Executive Officer James Burns and Board Chairman John DiNofrio
There have been numerous media reports concerning the difficulties of various financial institutions. Many people are wondering if their money is safe. If you are a member of Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union, we can tell you without a doubt that your credit union is a very safe and sound financial institution.
Credit unions, especially our credit union, are built on a philosophy of safeguarding the investments of their members. The cost of providing this safeguard may sometimes be at the expense of a larger dividend return to the members, but the proof that it is effective may never be more evident than now.
Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union Is Strong and Stable
We’re very proud that even in a trying economic climate we continue to help our members meet their financial goals. Our board of directors, committee volunteers and staff work very hard to make sure your credit union remains a strong, viable financial establishment. We do not invest in subprime lending or any other uncertain products. We are well positioned to serve you now and in the future for all of your financial needs.
We Follow Sound Practices
Auditors and examiners review our procedures, our documents and our compliance with regulations. You can rest assured that we consistently receive high marks. Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union appreciates the loyalty, support and trust you, our members, have given to us. We will continue to operate in your best interests.
